-Before doing your first dive, you should know how to swim. This sport is not recommended for those people who have health problems. You need to be physically fit before doing so.

-You need to have a proper training for diving. You need to take a course with an expert diving instructor. This thing will help you in the water and successfully do your dive. You have to know your limitations, never go too deep.

-Once you go for it, make sure to dive with a buddy. Do not dive without your partner. Diving with a buddy is one of the basic rules that you must follow for your own safety. You need to watch out for each other while scuba diving. Learn all the basic signs which will be taught during your diving training, and understand them well. Learning all the diving signs could save your life and others.

-Another important thing to know is how to breathe correctly. You have to breathe calmly and slowly and most of all relax when you breathe. Do not hold your breath because this may cause serious damage to your lungs.

-Don’t forget to use mask that is in good condition and fits properly on you. Never go for diving without a buoyancy compensator or any other form of compressed life jacket.

You need to spend time in planning your dive. Do the pre-dive checks with your diving partner as well as examining each others equipment and clothes. Scuba Masks

Let us all face it, when you are in underwater your time is valuable and restricted. You don’t have to waste your time fixing problems regarding your scuba mask to your next scuba diving experience. Also, you don’t want to be embarrassed or miss the dive altogether because of faulty scuba gear. There are lots of things to consider when investing and acquiring in a scuba diving mask. Each one has a unique face as well as head shape. It’s significant that the mask matches to your face and craft a water tight seal. A kind of mask that doesn’t shut properly can be very annoying and limit the pleasure on your trip. I’ll tell you the best ways to test for a suitable fit.

-Take a certain mask and then put it on your face without the strap used to hold it. Inhale unhurriedly, and the mask should stay put on your face. If you find out inhaling harder is required or the mask falls off, most probably this isn’t a good fit for you. The reason for this is to restrict the amount of water seeping into the scuba mask to as little as possible.

-If you are comfortable with the mask; then it is advisable to purchase it. Comfort is really important when it comes to scuba gear. You need to be sure the silicone strap fits nicely around your head and don’t pull your hair. You can do adjustments of the strap on both sides of the mask to achieve the best comfort while you are diving.

-Another thing to bear in mind is the type of lenses in the mask. There are two basic choices; the side-view lenses or the flat regular type. These side-view lenses can perk up your field of vision.  If you wear glasses it is advisable to get a mask with optical lenses prescribed to your needs. You need to try to prevent a tricky and probably dangerous situation before it happens. When buying scuba equipment or snorkeling gear, do your research and get what’s necessary to meet your recreational requirements.
